The Real Questions, Answered Plainly.

How It’s Built.
What is the program?+
A defined 3-month, physician-supervised GLP-1 weight-management program for women 35–64. One all-inclusive program fee covers labs, GLP-1 medication, two physician consults, substantial physician access for the full 3 months, a mid-program dose review, and an end-of-program decision consult.
Why 3 months specifically?+
Because GLP-1 dose titration takes time, and the metabolic shifts that women in this life stage are working with don’t resolve in six weeks. Three months allows a real starting dose, a structured mid-program adjustment, and a fresh-data decision at the end about whether to continue, taper, or stop.
Why specifically women 35–64?+
Because that’s the population this program was built around. The medication itself is the same FDA-approved GLP-1 a thoughtful physician would prescribe in any setting; what’s different is the patient population the program is structured for and the life-stage context the affiliated physician will discuss with you at the intake consult.
Is this HRT?+
No. Corvan is GLP-1 weight management, not hormone therapy. The affiliated physician will note hormonal context that affects weight, but Corvan does not prescribe estrogen, progesterone, or testosterone. If hormone therapy is appropriate for you, your physician can refer you appropriately.
What You Actually Get and Why.
What is GLP-1?+
GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) is a hormone the body makes in response to food. It signals satiety, slows gastric emptying, and supports insulin regulation. GLP-1 receptor-agonist medications amplify those effects, which is why they reduce hunger, comfortably shrink portion sizes, and support weight reduction when used under medical supervision.
What medication will I get?+
The default is an FDA-approved GLP-1 medication — the affiliated physician selects the specific FDA-approved product based on your history, response, and life-stage context. A compounded version (typically containing semaglutide or tirzepatide as the active ingredient, prepared by a state-licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy) may be prescribed only when the patient’s chart documents a specific clinical reason — for example, an FDA-approved formulation being unavailable to the patient. Compounded medications are not themselves FDA-approved products.
Is GLP-1 safe?+
For most adults who qualify medically, GLP-1 medications have a well-established safety profile from years of clinical use. Every medication has side effects and contraindications. The application screens for the FDA-listed contraindications (medullary thyroid carcinoma / MEN2, pancreatitis history, pregnancy or trying to conceive). Your physician reviews the full picture before prescribing.
What about side effects?+
The most common are gastrointestinal — mild nausea, occasional reflux, slower digestion — most likely in the first one to two weeks as the body adjusts to the starting dose. Your physician is reachable through the program (per the Care Policy posted on the patient portal) for dose-timing, hydration, and food-pairing strategies if these come up. If they’re intolerable, the protocol can be adjusted or stopped.
Whether This Is Right for You.
Who qualifies?+
The program is designed for women 35–64 located in the United States. Corvan operates through a network of independent, physician-owned medical practices licensed across all 50 states. We evaluate every application individually — not everyone is a fit, and you’ll hear so honestly. Application is free and takes about 5 minutes.
What if I’m perimenopausal and still cycling?+
You’re a candidate as long as the safety screen clears. The intake form asks about life stage so the physician has the context up front. GLP-1 medications are not safe in pregnancy or while trying to conceive — the application screens for that.
What if I’m on HRT or considering it?+
That’s helpful context, not a disqualifier. Tell your physician at intake. GLP-1 and hormone therapy are not the same conversation, and Corvan doesn’t prescribe HRT — but if you’re already on it (or considering it), the physician will factor it into the protocol. If hormone therapy is appropriate for you, your physician can refer you appropriately.
What disqualifies me?+
Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN2). Active or recent pancreatitis. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or actively trying to conceive. Other clinical factors may also rule it out — the affiliated physician makes that determination at the protocol consult.
The Money Questions.
What does it cost?+
See the pricing page for the full breakdown. The 3-month program is all-inclusive — labs, GLP-1 medication, two physician consults, substantial physician access for the full 3 months, mid-program dose review, and end-of-program decision consult. PRICING_TBD: the operator confirms the exact rate before launch.
Does insurance cover it?+
No. The program is cash-pay by design. GLP-1 medications for weight management are generally not covered by insurance without a qualifying diagnosis (such as type 2 diabetes). Itemized receipts are available on request for HSA/FSA submission.
What’s the refund policy?+
See the Refund Policy page for the full text. In summary: refund eligibility is prorated by what has actually been delivered. Before any consultation has occurred and no labs have been ordered — full refund. After intake but before lab orders — less consultation rendered. After labs / medication shipped — less labs, consultation, and shipped medication, plus prorated refund of any unshipped medication. If your physician determines you’re not a clinical fit at the protocol consult, the program fee is fully refunded.
Any hidden fees?+
No. The program fee covers every piece of medical work disclosed at checkout for the full 3 months.
How This Works Behind the Scenes.
How private is this?+
Fully HIPAA-protected. Shipping is unmarked. Billing statements are discreet. Corvan does not sell, share, or market based on your health data.
Who exactly are the physicians?+
Independent, board-certified physicians in our affiliated medical practice network. Every physician is licensed in the state where they see patients. Corvan Health LLC is a non-clinical platform; it does not practice medicine or make clinical decisions.
What’s the MSO / PC structure?+
Industry-standard for telehealth (Hims, Ro, Premier). The brand LLC handles operations — intake, scheduling, logistics, support — while clinical decisions are made by independent, licensed physicians exercising independent medical judgment. This structure keeps care in the hands of clinicians, which is the whole point.
